“Into the Lab”: innovation also comes from our teams
With the Into the Lab program, every ADVANS Group engineer can propose, prototype, and test their ideas.
Supported by technical mentors and backed by internal resources, some projects become technology building blocks, demonstrators, or even startups.

Spaces to move quickly from idea to prototype
To rapidly turn ideas into tangible results, ADVANS Lab relies on dedicated prototyping environments.
Across several ADVANS Group locations, we have access to fully equipped electronics laboratories.
At our Paris site, we also have a mechanical laboratory that enables us to develop and iterate on physical prototypes.
Entrepreneurship
ADVANS Lab & startups: a dynamic ecosystem
ADVANS Group actively supports technological entrepreneurship by investing in startups, often deeptech, with strong potential. These startups may come from several channels.
Our ambition is to support innovations that are aligned with our expertise and contribute to their success, whether as co‑founders, investors, or technology partners.
Internal projects
Projects may be created internally, based on initiatives imagined by our engineers. One example is Owneat, born out of the Into the Lab program and led by Pierre and Armen, two former AVISTO engineers (an ADVANS Group company).
Our ecosystem
Startups may also emerge from the ADVANS Group ecosystem, through former employees, partners, or be identified by our teams as part of active technology watch activities.
ADVANS Accelerator
Finally, we identify high‑potential startups through ADVANS Accelerator, a program we co‑founded with Rise Partners. It combines technological, business, and financial support to accelerate market access.

CEOS2030 |
CEOS2030The CEOS2030 project (Data Center and Edge Computing in Space) is a 100% French initiative accredited by Aerospace Valley and supported by the French government and Bpifrance as part of the France 2030 program. Based on a combination of advanced technologies, this solution will reduce the environmental footprint of space data processing while improving the operational efficiency of missions. |
ADAVEC |
ADAVECWe acted as coordinator for the ADAVEC project, which aimed to prepare the transition toward autonomous vehicles. At the software level, we developed driver monitoring modules as well as experience data collection. At the electronic level, we integrated the various solutions and boards developed. Finally, we managed deployment on a 3D / reality simulator. |
CIAR |
CIAR: neural networks in spaceTogether with our partners Thales Alenia Space, ActiveEon, and GEO4i, we took part in the CIAR project (Chaîne Image Autonome et Réactive), carried out at the IRT Saint Exupéry in Sophia Antipolis. We developed Artificial Intelligence solutions designed to be implemented on FPGA devices embedded on satellites. |
